The Ancient Punishments - What more can we do to a Mark Man?

On Thursday the 7th of January, Bispham-with-Norbreck Lodge of Mark Master Masons descended on Aegis Craft Lodge at Garstang to repeat the Ancient Punishments presentation.
The cast with Dep.PrGM Phil Gunning and AsstPrGM David Grainger
Dolphie Taylor, our victim, and WM Peter Maxwell
The cast had a wonderful time at Aegis Lodge
The meeting was honoured by the presence of the Deputy PrGM, Bro Phil Gunning, Assistant PrGM David Grainger, Group Chairman Jim Wilson, and a host of highly influential Masons, including Keith Kemp, the Provincial DC, and Peter Schofield the PrJGW.  So we had to perform!
Surgeons Barry Shaw and David Britton
James Rashid, Dolphie Taylor & Andrew Dickson
Joe Codling, Giles Berkley and Peter Maxwell
Despite some last minute substitutions, everyone performed their part superbly, and with great fun.  I do suspect some of the audience were expecting a standard lecture, which as those of you who have seen it will know, this show certainly is not a standard lecture!
Garstang provided a great back-drop for the show, with plenty of room, superb facilities, and brilliant food. Melvyn Cross, the DC of Aegis, and also a very senior member of Bispham-with-Norbreck Mark Lodge, invited us along to perform, and despite the floods, everyone got through. In his spare time Melvyn is also Grand Master of the Thomas of Acon Degree.....
Provincial Mark Wardens Tony Cross & Andy Whittle
Melvyn Cross, Keith Kemp and Peter Schofield PrJGW
Remember, only 14 units per week now....
The Lodge very kindly presented us with a cheque for £200 for Mark Charities, a very generous gesture, for which we thank them.
My personal thanks go out to the cast for all their hard work and ability: -
Joe and James played their parts brilliantly
Dolphie Taylor, Giles Berkley and Andrew Dickson
The reward for labour - £200 for Mark Charities!
WM Peter Maxwell, Dolphie Taylor, James Rashid, Joe Codling, David Britton, Barry Shaw, and Andrew Dickson our Secretary
